North Carolina University, located in Greenville, NC, seeks a board-eligible or board-certified Pediatric Neurologist to join their Neurology Division. The successful candidate will join an academic group in a tenure track or fixed-term appointment at the rank/title of Assistant Professor or higher, commensurate with qualifications. Greenville is located 80 miles northwest of the beautiful North Carolina coastline and 80 miles east of Raleigh. New graduates and visa candidates are welcome to apply.
North Carolina University is affiliated with the local hospital's 1,712-bed health system that serves more than 1.4 million people in 29 eastern North Carolina counties. Health Medical Center, a 974-bed, Level 1 Trauma center, serves as the teaching hospital for the University.

Hospital privileges at The local Children’s Hospital at the local Medical Center - a 206,499 square foot 198-bed facility
Strong support from East University’s Department of Pediatrics
Established clinical neuroscience team of 10 neurosurgeons, including dual-trained cerebrovascular specialists and 20 + neurologists including an interventional neurologist, 4 vascular neurologists, 4 neurointensivists and 13 subspecialty neurologists. The subspecialties include pediatric neurology, epilepsy, movement disorders, headache, neuromuscular, sleep medicine, intraoperative monitoring and neuro-oncology. There is also a large team of inpatient and outpatient Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants
