Role Overview: This role involves performing procedures using imaging modalities while ensuring high standards of patient care, safety, and clinical outcomes.
Requirements:
  • 2 Years Minimum Experience.
  • Flu Vaccine Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions Only.
  • Required certifications: ARRT MR, BLS.
  •  Community Hospital Experience Preferred but not required.
  • Charting System: EPIC Experience Required
  • Unit Systems: Pyxis, Visage, PACS, SBAR, Email/Microsoft Teams.
  • Special Equipment Required: Medrad injector and GE Voyager; Technologist will only be required to be competent using GE equipment.
  • 1st Time Travelers accepted.
Required Clinical Skills:
  • Work Settings Skills Required: Adult Acute Care, Adult ICU, Adult Outpatient, ER/Trauma Imaging: Chest, abdomen, pelvis, head (all with and without contrast), musculoskeletal trauma, and spine (cervical, thoracic, lumbar)
  • Abdomen and Pelvis Skills Required: Abdomen, MRA, MRV, Female Pelvis, MRCP, Male Pelvis
  • Cardiovascular Skills Required: MR Aortogram, MR Pulmonary & MR Angio Lower Extremity with Bilateral Runoff
  • Chest Skills Required
  • Head and Neck Skills Required: Brain, Cranial nerves, Face/Soft tissue neck, Head MRA, Head MRV, Neck MRV, Orbits
  • Musculoskeletal Skills Required: Foot, Hand, Hip/bony pelvis, Knee, Lower & Upper extremity long bones, shoulder, sternum, Temporomandibular joint with/without contrast
  • Professional Knowledge and Skills: Isolation Precautions, Preparation, and/or administration of contrast media & Starting Peripheral IVs
  • Spine Skills Required: Cervical, Lumbar, Sacrum/Coccyx, Spine Trauma, Thoracic & Thoracic Magnetic resonance angiography
  • Special Imaging Procedures Required: CINE, Diffusion (non-brain), Gradient Echo Imaging, Image post-processing (Apparent diffusion coefficient mapping, subtraction), MIP, MRP, Spin Echo Images, Surface Coils, T-1 and T-2 Weighted Images
Required Clinical Skills:
  • Skills: Pediatric Acute Care, Pediatric Outpatient
Schedule:
  • Shift hours:  Monday - Friday 2:30-11:00 PM.
  • Call Requirement: Rotating Weekend Call Requirement; It will be only one weekend required, 08/08/26 - 08/09/26; Call Shift is 7:00 PM - 6:30 AM.
