Requirements:
- Required 1 years’ experience.
- Required 1 year of Epic charting experience.
- Medication System: Omnicell
- Flu Vaccine Required – No Exemptions.
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TN active RN license.
- Required 1 years’ experience for travelers.
- Required Float, as needed and per skill set.
Skills:
- Respiratory: BiPAP/CPAP management, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, oral suctioning, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks
- Gastrointestinal
- Genitourinary/Renal
- Neurological/Psychiatric
- CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident)
- Substance Withdrawal
- IV therapy/Phlebotomy: Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Starting and maintaining IVs
- Work settings: ER Holding, MS/Tele, Genitourinary/Renal, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management
- Genitourinary/Renal: Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management
- Gastrointestinal: Feeding tube care and management
- Medications: Heparin, Insulin, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration
- Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Isolation Precautions/PPE
- Use of Rapid Response/Code teams
Special Procedures Details:
- Inpatient unit for our stroke and TIA patients.
- Peritoneal dialysis and continuous bladder irrigation.
Schedule:
- Shift hours: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15).
- Weekend Coverage: Every other but may change based on need.
- Required Float, as needed.
