• Specialty: Ortho/Bariatric/Colo-rectal post-op unit
• Start Date: Open
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 3x12s or 4x12s( 7p-7a)
• Paid holidays within contract, on call , callbacks & orientation
• Ratios: 1:7

Role Description

This is a contract on-site role for a Travel Nurse RN - MS/ Tele in Chesapeake, VA. The Travel Nurse RN will be responsible for providing direct patient care in a Medical/Surgical unit. The role involves assessing and monitoring patients, administering medications, collaborating with the healthcare team, and ensuring patients' safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Experience in Medical/Surgical/Telemetry
• Must be EPIC proficient - No exceptions
• IV Start, Telemetry Interpretation 
• 2 years experience required, travel experience preferred
• Compact or VA license in hand - No exceptions
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility and adaptability
• BLS and ACLS certifications required via American Heart Association
