Role Overview: This role involves providing critical care to patients with life-threatening conditions, closely monitoring vital signs and operating advanced medical equipment. Additionally, this involves administering medications, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, and responding rapidly to changes in a patient’s condition. This role requires strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver compassionate care in high-pressure environments.
Requirements:
3 years of experience
Flu Vaccine Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed
Trauma Level I Experience Preferred
Trauma Level II Experience Preferred
BLS, ACLS required via American Heart Association; NIHSS required
VA or Compact License in hand at the time of submittal
EPIC Charting Proficiency Experience Required
Skills required: Strong neuro experience required (post-neurosurgical, EVD, and stroke), Vents, IV drip titration, Telemetry monitoring, Conscious Sedation, Dysrhythmia and emergency management
3 years of Critical Care experience preferred, will consider strong candidates with less than 3 years
Travel experience preferred

Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Float Required Must be willing to float to Stepdown Unit. May also be floated to ED/MedSurg to care for ICU patients being
