Requirements:
- 1 year experience required.
- Neuro experience preferred not required.
- 1 year of EPIC charting experience required.
- Flu Vaccine Required – No Exemptions.
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
- Active SC or multistate license required
- 1st time travelers accepted.
Required Clinical Skills:
- Starting IVs, accessing ports, managing PICC & central lines, peripheral IV care, blood product administration, PCA & heparin protocols
- HFNC, nasal cannula, trach management
- Telemetry (remote), dysrhythmia interpretation & management, Rapid Response Team use
- CVA care, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, pre/post neurosurgery, continuous bladder irrigation, isolation precautions, surgical drain management, Feeding tube care
Schedule:
- Shift hours: 3 x 12 hr.
- Weekend Requirement: Every Other
- Required Float as needed.
