Cashier - QT2132

We're looking for salespeople to provide exceptional customer service and develop strong customer relationships.

The ideal candidate is articulate, motivated, and ready to provide an outstanding customer experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers in a timely, professional and engaging manner
  • Work as a team player to ensure each customer receives the best service possible
  • Perform daily department maintenance tasks including stock work, re-merchandising, display, price changes, and light cleaning
  • Operate a point-of-sale computer cash register and act as relief sales clerk to ensure prompt and courteous service to customers
  • Work with customers to address customer complaints, returns and exchanges in accordance with established store policy

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, or equivalent; some college preferred
  • At least six months of department store retail experience
  • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with customers and coworkers
  • Ability to positively and proactively handle customer concerns and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to quickly learn new procedures and processes
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
